Apiary — Privacy Policy

Apiary is an offline beekeeping logbook designed to work entirely on your device. Your privacy is important and this app does not collect or transmit personal data to any server.

Data Collection

Apiary does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal information.

All information you record in the app (hive notes, inspections, photos, and voice notes) is stored locally on your device only.

Internet Connectivity

The app does not require an internet connection to function. No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are used.

Photos and Microphone

Apiary may request permission to:

• Access the camera or photo library (to attach hive photos)
• Access the microphone (to record voice notes)

These files remain stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, transfer, or upload any user data to third parties.

Data Backup

If you choose to export or back up your data, the file is created locally on your device and managed entirely by you.

Children’s Privacy

Apiary does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
